Sean O'Brien email, photo and youtube demo
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Sean O'Brien. I'm hoping to get a chance to audition for a role in your new short film production that you are going to make in Coolock in the new year.
I am 50 years old. I'm 6 foot, 1 inch tall with a grey beard that's grown a bit like Santa Clause's beard by now and I have light brown hair.
From 2007 to 2012 I acted in several plays and pantomimes with Ballyfermot Theatre Workshops Ltd (BTW) in a Community Employment Scheme. My favourite role was playing Seamus Shields in the play 'The Shadow of a Gunman'.
In 2009, I played the title role of the postman in RTE's CSI Scannal's true crime mystery historical drama episode of 'The Missing Postman'.
In 2008, I did a Performance Year part-time course in the Gaiety School of acting.
Last September, I acted in a tourist promotional video made in Sligo by Marmalade Films for Failte Ireland.
I enclose as an attachment of a headshot photo of myself that I took in October
I also include with this email a link to a YouTube 2 minute monologue I did also in October from John B Keane's play 'The Field' as said by the character the Bull Mc Cabe. I hope you will be able to get it.
Thank you for reading this email. Good luck with your tender film production.
Yours faithfully,
Sean O'Brien
